Dropped in at Winwick for a deltic on ecs followed by sun bathing at Red Bank whilst waiting for a few ballasts plus an additional DRS working, all sheds but summat to do nonetheless..

The Barry shots were took by my dad on 2 visits to the famous scrapyard in 1970.
Apologies for the dubious scan quality, this is due to the slides having faded over the years.
The shots at MC Metals were taken over a weekend when we were salvaging spares for D8 Penyghent.

Welcome to wilberts shots, just a few of my collection of (mainly) railway photos taken over the last 20 - 25 years. All my photos have been scanned from slides or negatives so updates will appear as time allows.
I have recently taken the plunge into the digi age, with the purchase of a Nikon D80, mainly to complement rather than replace my Nikon F80. |

I`ve had more than a passing interest in railways since i was old enough to remember, it started with my dad taking me to see the last runs of the Deltics from 1980 onwards, (more of an excuse for him to go i`ll bet!).
Since 1993 i have worked on the railway, so can claim to have worked for BR. Bring back the good old days!
